SimTex represents a substantial leap forward in the digital engineering of
technical textiles. It is a bespoke software built to enable rapid and realistic
simulations for complex textile components. In one of the demonstrations*, the
simulation time of a complex 3D textile part sees a significant reduction from 3
days in a general commercial software to just under 5.5 hours in SimTex.

The software package is lean and compact, featuring a flexible API that integrates into existing engineering analysis pipelines. It also boasts a low barrier to entry, ensuring that CAE/mechanical engineers can navigate and utilise its features with ease. Further, SimTex is scalable, it can deploy on a local workstation, or be ported to a cluster environment for large-scale simulations.

SimTex is a simulation solution that addresses the multiple facets of challenges in companies that work with technical textiles.

The physics-based simulation tool offers insights to the mechanical behaviour of specific textiles and helps in de-risking a particular design.

It enables engineers to carry out rapid design iterations of technical textiles virtually, thereby reducing the number of costly experimental trials and accelerating time-to-market.

The software offers a low barrier to deployment. It can come as a standalone software with no external dependencies, or can provide flexible API for integration into an existing software
